Negotiated development ground lease on behalf of New York based real estate family for the development of a hotel by ground lessee in the Times Square neighborhood of Manhattan.

Negotiated on behalf of hotel owner a ground lease bi-furcating land and building with operations to facilitate long term cash flow for owner’s family and a sale of the hotel operations enabling seller to acquire other assets for diversification.  

Represented operator of education facilities in long term ground lease for the development of a school campus in Northern Virginia.

Represented publicly traded mall owner in the ground lease of pad sites on perimeters of all malls throughout mall portfolio.

Represented hotel owner in the negotiation of long-term ground lease with the City of Boston for the Renaissance Boston Hotel in the Boston Seaport District.

Represented fee owner in a 110,000 sf ground lease condominium, which enabled the not-for-profit ground lessee to realize substantial real property tax benefits.
