Jean Emery

Jean M. Emery’s practice consists of representing clients in connection with complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions and depositions, commercial leasing and multi-property portfolio purchases and sales. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, title and survey review, preparation of closing documents, and managing post-closing matters; drafting and amending commercial lease agreements; and addressing the full range of matters affecting property interests such as condemnations, easements, deed restrictions, water rights, zoning and entitlements, and archaeological and historical preservation. Ms. Emery has also served in the public sector representing agencies and a county government in acquisitions and land management matters for parks, recreation and conservation purposes.
