Lee Sudakoff has represented and advised a variety of national real estate firms, investors, borrowers, landlords, tenants and developers on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, leasing and financing, for various types of commercial properties in New York and nationwide, with an emphasis on the acquisition of multi-property portfolios and large scale sale-leaseback transactions.
Representative clients and projects have included the following:
- Counsel to family business, which manages and owns real estate investments nationwide.
- Counsel to landlords with respect to the drafting and negotiating of office, commercial, and retail leases as well as amendments, guaranties, subleases and assignments as well as lease analysis.
- Providing general corporate advice to businesses including the analysis of business structures such as limited liability companies, S corporations, partnerships and related hybrid structures.
- Managing completion of an outdoor digital sign project, which included drafting and negotiating various documents with respect to such LED digital billboard including owner-contractor agreements, marketing agreements, independent contractor agreements with electricians and visual technology companies, as well as installation agreements.
Prior to joining Federman Steifman LLP, Lee was the principal of the Colorado law firm LS-Legal Services LLC, general counsel to Enterprise Asset Management, Inc. and a senior associate at the Manhattan law firm Goldfarb & Fleece LLP. She also serves on the board of The Serious Type, a Colorado not-for-profit corporation.
